Be动词的一般过去式
Be动词的现在式（根据人称和数的变化）有三种形式：am、is、are，它们对应的过去式如下：

It is sunny (today). （一般现在时）

She was very happy.（一般过去时）
昨天是Mary的生日。她很高兴。
